Australia visa for Kyrgyz citizens: applying online
Australia issues tourist and visitor visas at a fixed fee, and the whole application runs online — no in-person visit is required at any stage. Here is how the process works and what most often trips up applicants from Kyrgyzstan.
Australia visa cost from Bishkek: $200 including the consular fee. Full details on the Australia visa page — you pay once the visa is issued.
How the online application works
You apply through the Australian immigration service’s online portal: registering an account, filling in the form, uploading scanned documents and paying the fee by card. There is no in-person step at this stage — correspondence and the decision arrive through the same portal.
What to prepare in advance
- a passport valid for at least six months after the trip;
- colour photos matching the requirements;
- hotel and return flight bookings;
- an employment certificate stating your income;
- a bank statement for the recent months;
- for a visit to relatives, an invitation from your hosts and proof of the family relationship.
All documents are uploaded as scans or clear photos — originals are not needed at this stage.
Finances and purpose of travel
The Australian side wants to see that you can afford the trip and intend to return home: a job, family, studies or property all help. The weak point in a typical application is usually not the money but a vague purpose — “see the country” without an itinerary or bookings looks far less convincing than a concrete plan.
Visiting relatives
A visitor visa for family reasons needs an invitation from your hosts in Australia and documents proving the relationship. The invitation can be arranged by message, but it should clearly state the purpose and dates of the visit — this is the document we help you prepare.
How much it costs and how long it takes
The current price is on the Australia visa page: $200 already includes the consular fee. Processing times are set by the immigration service and change through the year — we will give you the current guidance for your case when you get in touch.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to print documents to apply for Australia?
No, the application is filed entirely online through the immigration service's portal, with documents attached as files. There is no need for paper copies — just clear, complete scans.
Can I submit an application on behalf of a relative or a child?
Yes, the portal lets you manage an application on someone else's behalf, including a child's. You will need their documents and, for minors, the other parent's consent.
